    Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Goods In Supervisor? As a Goods In Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the efficient receipt, inspection, and storage of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the goods inwards process, ensuring accurate stock management, and maintaining a safe working environment. If you have prior supervisory experience in a warehouse setting and possess excellent organisational skills, we encourage you to apply.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Goods Receipt and Inspection:
      • Accurately account for goods inwards by checking off deliveries and booking stock into our system.
      • Ensure all colleagues complete tally tickets correctly for customers collecting goods from the yard or warehouses.
      • Inspect incoming goods for damage, discrepancies, or missing items.
      • Safely operate a forklift or side loader truck to handle goods.
    • Stock Management:
      • Efficiently store stock in the yard and warehouses.
      • Maintain organized and accessible storage areas.
      • Monitor stock levels and replenish as needed.
      • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of goods.
    • Supervision and Leadership:
      • Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
      • Set performance goals and deadlines in alignment with company plans.
      • Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties.
      • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
    • Flexibility and Adaptability:
      • Be flexible with working hours, as occasional adjustments may be necessary.
      • Adapt to changing priorities and urgent requests.
    • Health and Safety:
      • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
      • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    Hours / Days:
    Working Monday to Friday. Starting at 07:30 and finishing at 16:30. Must be flexible.

    Qualifications and Skills:
    • Experience:
      • Previous experience as a supervisor or manager in a warehouse setting is essential.
      • Familiarity with goods inwards processes and stock management.
      • Counterbalance forklift license is a bonus.
