- Goods Receipt and Inspection:
- Accurately account for goods inwards by checking off deliveries and booking stock into our system.
- Ensure all colleagues complete tally tickets correctly for customers collecting goods from the yard or warehouses.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage, discrepancies, or missing items.
- Safely operate a forklift or side loader truck to handle goods.
- Stock Management:
- Efficiently store stock in the yard and warehouses.
- Maintain organized and accessible storage areas.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of goods.
- Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
- Set performance goals and deadlines in alignment with company plans.
- Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
- Flexibility and Adaptability:
- Be flexible with working hours, as occasional adjustments may be necessary.
