As a Facilities Assistant, you will work closely with the Faculty Services Team to provide professional and high-quality support throughout the university.

This is not your typical desk job; you'll be on the move daily, interacting with staff, students, and visitors, making a tangible difference in the campus community.

The Facilities Assistant will maintain a well-stocked and organised inventory, regularly replenishing essentials like antibacterial wipes, wash liquids and hand towels.

To be successful in this role you will be proactive, possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a self-starter with a positive attitude.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work in collaboration with the Faculty Services Team to provide exceptional customer service to staff, students, and campus visitors.
  • Maintain a wellstocked and organised inventory of refreshments and cleaning supplies
  • Regularly check and replenish essentials like antibacterial wipes, washing up liquid, and hand towels.
  • Carrying out morning checks of AV equipment, setting up meeting rooms and teaching rooms
  • Take charge of maintaining student water machines and water fountains across the campus.
  • Keep kitchen noticeboards updated with the latest information and posters.

Skills:


  • Proficiency in physically demanding tasks, maintaining a consistently high standard.
  • Excellent communication skills, working with individuals at all levels.
  • Selfmotivated with a proactive approach and the ability to use initiative.

Salary:
£15.00-£15.20 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
