Hours: 22.5 hours per week**
Contract: Permanent
Do you have the desire to work on exciting new projects to help us build safer stronger communities in North Somerset, with a focus on domestic abuse and tackling violence against women and girls?


A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join us as a Domestic Abuse Project Engagement Officer in our Safer Communities Team on a permanent basis.


This post will be working alongside the wider Safer Communities Team, who are responsible for developing and delivering the Council's strategies to tackle domestic abuse and violence against women and girls.


We are looking for someone that is driven by the agenda, values the importance of coproduction with stakeholders, including people with lived experience, and is confident in building links and making connections within the community.


You will be an engaging and articulate communicator able to adapt to different circumstances and audiences in order to get the best out of opportunities.

Experience of community development as well as knowledge of the domestic abuse agenda is desirable.
