We are looking to offer a
Plant Hire Controller the opportunity to join our expanding
Plant Hire/ Operations Team based in
Castleford.
As a
Plant Hire Controller you will be a part of our commitment to deliver what we promise for our clients, within the leading essential infrastructure services provider operating within the UK & Ireland.
About M Group Services Plant and Fleet and your team
With 8 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Services.
9,000 vehicles and over
25,000 owned or externally hired plant assets.
Our team has grown rapidly and we are responsible for the supply and management of specialist equipment and vehicles, supplying the Water, Energy, Transport, Data and Telecommunication sectors.
The Plant Hire Controller will join the division who support our front-line operations by providing compliant, innovative and fit for purpose Vehicles Plant and Equipment.
Who you are?
Do you have experience working in an office? Are you strong with using Microsoft Office?
The Plant Hire Controller will help support the Plant Hire / Operations Team that transacts all enquiries relating to Plant, Accommodation, Site Services and Tool requirements.

As the Plant Hire Controller, you'll get the opportunity to:
- Raise& closing contracts, asset transfers and contract amendments using the hire management software (InspHire)
- Confirmi xhires by liaising with Suppliers and using suppliers' extranets
- Continuously review live hire reports and supplier extranets to ensure InspHire is up to date at all times.
- Develop positive relationships with M Group Services Businesses' and supply chain personnel
- Run reports
What you'll bring?
- Relevant experience within an office environment is essential
- Previous experience within Plant Hire
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and work with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Proven IT skills, with Microsoft Office Experience
- Good written and oral communication skills
