HGV Driver / Weekend LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver

The Best Connection are proud to be working with our client based in Washington, who are a large and well-established haulage company.

Due to planned growth and commitment, they are looking for several Nightshift C+E drivers available for ADHOC work - primarily looking to cover weekend shifts.

Ideal for those looking to increase their weekly wage and optimise driving hours.


The role:
A to B trunking
Trailer swaps
Pre-loaded vehicles & pre-planned routes
Strapping the load
No handball involved


The candidate:
Full, Class CE UK Driving Licence
CPC Driver Qualification Card
Digi-Card Required
2 year driving experience due to insurances


Hours of work:
Primarily to cover weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
Shift start time varies pending destination - tends to be between 10pm and 2am start


Pay Rates:
Monday to Friday £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
Saturday £17.00 per hour (PAYE)
Sunday and Bank Holidays £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
