Description

Do you want to move into the renewable energy sector and work in a fast paced business working in the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of wind turbines? If so, read on.

You will work alongside the Operations & Maintenance teams and be responsible for inventory management at the Harrogate branch of Earthmill Maintenance Limited.

The role will be split across supply chain & stock management and you will report to the Operation Manager.

Some of the tasks you will be involved in (but not limited to) will include;

Handling of goods in and ensuring delivery notes are processed correctly.
Goods out shipment booking and packaging (UK and international) with communications to subcontractors regarding what goods are shipped.
Stock management in Earthmill Maintenance Limited stores to ensure all is kept orderly and well stocked. Re packing and cataloguing of parts returned to stores from the field service team.
Assistance with monthly reorders of parts and re stocking orders of consumables/ small tooling. Liaising with supply chain on when goods will arrive.
Arranging shipping and booking in of major components leaving the workshop for overhauls & refurbishment.
Responsibility for workshop equipment and tooling to ensure all is returned to location equipped to be redeployed to field operations.
Picking and preparation of parts lists for major projects for the field service teams.

You will be professional, enthusiastic, results driven, tenacious and willing to go that extra mile to achieve exceptional customer service.

You will also need to be resourceful, think on your feet and be able to make decisions using your initiative.

It is expected that you complete all documentation and paperwork which is required with the function of Inventory Controller.

You will be required to follow all the procedures in place to ensure yours and your colleague's health and safety is paramount.

Attitude goes a long way and a "can do" approach is required.
