We have a newly created vacancy for an experienced Trainer to join us on the MEH Alliance in the position of Compliance Training Instructor, working on the Hinkley Point C construction project.

The main purpose of the role will be to deliver mandatory training to all site employees covering Health & Safety an other topics critical to compliance.

Working with the L&D and H&S teams to plan, prepare and deliver a range of training to contribute towards ensuring the MEH Alliance workforce remain compliant.

Delivery of training to new starts joining the MEH Alliance, including inductions and behavioural safety training.
Delivery of a range of H&S specific related training, awareness and briefings to blue collar workers and apprentices.
The design and development of specific project related training as required.
Tracking and recording of training completion information, with support of the wider L&D team.
Liaise with MEH JV partner organisations on training activity and resources.
Attendance and contribution to relevant HPC training working groups.
Assist with development and implementation of eLearning courses.
Previous experience of delivering workplace training.
A recognised teaching qualificationis desirable.
Competent in using Microsoft packages such as Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel and Word.

NG Bailey on the Hinkley Point C Project We are working across both Hinkley Point C units to deliver the infrastructure that will power the station and its operations, creating 1,000 jobs including many specialist engineers.

Works include the design and installation of circa 76,000 cables totalling over 3,000km in length; over 180km of cable containment support systems; fire and environmental sealing; design and installation of earthing systems, and specialist packages associated with data acquisition and plant control.
