    Job BriefWith this role we are looking to solve complex business challenges within the Manufacturing / Industrial sector, whilst supporting the rapid growth of this leading sector within Q5.Our consultants are adept at leading and working in teams to deliver great outcomes for our clients across our core 'organisational health' offerings.

    There are three core focus areas that we use when thinking about consulting at Q5:

    Project DeliveryWorking with a wide range of clients to deliver impactful project work in a collaborative manner Ability to quickly understand the subject matter, aided by a background in the sector, key players and working styles Ability to work all findings and insights up into a clear and concise deliverables Comfortable working collaboratively with client personnel at all levels of their organisation throughout the process - through working sessions, workshops and 1:1 meetings Managing client expectations and ongoing requests throughout a project Comfortable presenting outputs and recommendations to senior stakeholders and executives to achieve buy-in for strategic recommendations Ability to be part of a team on larger projects, but equally comfortable where appropriate to lead up workstreams on smaller projectsBusiness DevelopmentAn established, or growing, network of former colleagues and clients within Manufacturing / Industrial sectors Ability to write proposals and pitch projects / approaches to potential clients Willingness to attend events and build Q5 network Ability to support, or own, writing thought-pieces or white papers around select strategic topics to share with Q5's networkPractice Management/Personal DevelopmentBecome an active part of the infrastructure community within Q5 Willingness to get stuck into developing internal collateral, approaches, frameworks and toolkits to support the wider delivery of successful projects Research and data gathering around competitor trends, market trends and opportunity identification to glean actionable insights RequirementsWe are looking for people who have demonstrable experience and capability as follows:Minimum of eight years' consulting experience with specific knowledge and expertise within Manufacturing, logistics or Supply Chain practices - with a focus on business / process transformation Deep understanding, practical experience and keen interest in managing or leading teams in the application of disciplines such as:Operational Excellence / Lean / Six Sigma manufacturing and associated problem-solving skills (process mapping, root cause analysis, process failure analysis)Asset Management, QMS and Maintenance strategy developmentSupply chain strategies and practicesPlanning and Modelling tools and softwareCommercial or cost reduction initiativesDesign thinking / innovation techniquesPresentation of recommendations/business case to (non-technical) business audiences Strong data modelling skills and ability to tell a story / present data driven insights to enable informed decision options based on data Some experience of using Agile and/or Scrum governance and delivery techniques would be useful A keen interest for the sector including an understanding of key market trends, history and businesses in the industry Experience supporting business development, network generation and proposal building Demonstrable experience of leading projects and teams in a similar consulting environment or significant demonstrable experience working in industry Demonstrable confidence and credibility with senior stakeholders and the ability to foster genuine client relationships quickly Strong facilitation and presentation skills to develop and deliver engaging workshops with complex and detailed subject matters A bachelor's degree or above (various disciplines welcome)The sort of person we are looking for Highly adaptable and flexible in thinking style - We often find ourselves working across a variety of contexts and a 'simple' challenge turns out to be much more complex than it first appears.
