The Company

A leading retail and distribution business based in South Yorkshire, has immediate requirements for a Senior Technical Engineer to joining their IT team.

As a business, they are firmly established and trusted within the consumer market with over 20 years' industry experience which has also seen 20% growth in company turnover during the last 12 months.

The role
As a technical member of the IT team, you will have extensive experience working in Windows and Linux environments. You will have a solid understanding of Windows AD, good networking skills (VLANSs / WAN's) and Virtualisation knowledge.

The Person

4+ years' commercial experience in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, networking, and cloudbased solutions (AWS / Azure)
Good understanding of system security, firewalls, virtual and cloud infrastructure
Windows AD experience (must have)
Virtualisation experience around VMware
Experienced working on Linux Administration / UNIX / Debian
Knowledge of deployment and configuration of IT infrastructure
Good understanding of Docker and/or Kubernetes
Red Hat / MySQL / Ansible / Terraform experience (desirable)
