Sports Facility Assistant (Saltmill Park)

Location: Saltmill Park, Saltash, Cornwall, PL12 6LG
Contract: Zero Hours
NMW – 21 and over £11.44, 18-20 – £8.60, Under 18 £6.95
Hours: 10 – 20 per week, flexible
Not -for-profit organisation Groundwork South have an opportunity for someone who is keen to gain some experience of working in sports development and sports facility management.
We are looking for a Sports Facility Assistant to work as part of a team to assist the Sports Development Manager with the daily running of our All Weather Pitch, Skate Park, changing rooms and Pavilion.
You will work with us to ensure Saltmill is presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and health and safety and that our equipment and site are maintained and prepared to ensure a high quality experience for all users.
To take on this rewarding role you will be a pro-active team player, able to take the initiative, communicate with customers, the public and co-workers in a positive manner along with the ability to work evenings and weekends.
This role will suit a degree student, or recent graduate looking for experience and who is keen to bring community sports development and health engagement theories into practice.
