Description
An international global engineering services business require a Buyer/Planner on a 12 month FTC. Applicants should have previous; purchasing, supply chain or expediting experience and be familiar with the use of MRP/ERP.


The Buyer / Planner will work within a large supply chain team and will be responsible for operational, purchasing tasks.


Specific duties of the Buyer/Planner include:

  • Management of the purchase order process
  • Use of the business MRP/ERP system
  • Supplier order book management
  • Expediting
  • Stakeholder engagement address supplier quality and supplier performance issues
  • Escalate issues to Procurement Management
Buyer / Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Purchasing, supply chain or expediting experience within a manufacturing or engineering business
  • Comfortable with a 12 month FTC
  • MRP/ERP literate
  • Good relationship builder and communicator
  • Capable of performing to deadlines in a fastpaced environment
