Description
My client is recruiting a Finance Assistant to join their small, friendly and professional team in Grantham. This position is being offered on a full-time permanent basis Monday to Friday with an immediate start available. This is a busy department and they need someone with the relevant experience to hit the ground running.

As the Finance Assistant your duties shall be varied and include, but not be limited to:

  • Purchase Ledger (this covers the majority of the role)
  • Print & log invoices
  • Match invoices to supporting documentation
  • Manage the approval process
  • Once approved post invoices to Sage 50
  • Deal with supplier queries
  • Reconcile supplier statements
Sales Ledger

  • Obtain credit card payments for proforma invoices
  • Post and allocate receipts on Sage 50
  • Credit control
Additional Duties

  • Maintain asset and other registers
  • Filing of invoices and orders
  • Collect and distribute post
  • Additional bookkeeping or administrative duties as designated by management
  • Computer literate
  • Clear, concise communication both written and verbal
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work within deadlines
  • The ability to prioritise duties
  • Thrive on working within a small team environment


In return my client is offering a competitive package that includes 28 days annual leave including public bank holidays, onsite parking and company pension, all with a remuneration of £22,000.
