- Coordinate with department managers and site staff in preparation and maintenance of HSE risk assessments.
- Undertake site monitoring, risk assessments and site inspections; identify potential hazards within the workplace processes and ways of working and determine ways of reducing risks and preventing harm.
- Compile HSE statistics for reports and training.
- Implement a sustainable mechanism, coaching and training for keeping the site teams up to date with current health and safety legislation and site procedures.
- Source H&S solutions / equipment as required to close actions from audit inspections and incidents.
- Prior experience within the utilities/construction/civil engineering industries
- NEBOSH or degree in Occupational Health and Safety
- Familiar with HSE Management standards such as ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001
- Risk assessment experience in general manual handling

Danny Sullivan Group are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor role that I have available with a fast-growing utilities' contractor working on large scale projects across the UK.
The purpose of the role is to oversee and ensure that all work on water projects is carried out in a safe and responsible manner. Ideal candidate must be a motivated professional seeking to further their career in the water/civils sector.
