A top tier Manchester City Centre law firm is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier to assist the firm's lawyers to ensure that all billing and the management of work in progress on client matters is carried out promptly and accuratelyin line with customers' SLAs.

Manchester - Hybrid working

After initial training, the firm offer hybrid working, working from home 3 days a week and 2 days in the Manchester office.

You will be required to have previous legal billing/legal cashier experience.

As a Legal Billing Cashier you will:

Be preparing bills following client specific billing instructions within required time-scales
Be responsible for proactively chasing prebills issued to maximise billing opportunities
Liaise proactively with partners, lawyers and support staff to facilitate the effectiveness and efficiency of the billing process

Knowledge of accounts procedures, client ledgers, disbursements and office accounts would be extremely beneficial, together with proficiency in MS Office including Outlook.
