Senior Financial Accountant

Seeking a Financial Accountant to join a global business based near Oxford. Hybrid working pattern, supporting senior management with decision making, through analysis and reporting.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ownership of the preparation of monthly financial reports, annual financial statements
Preparation, analysis and posting of journals/balance sheet reconciliations at month end
Calculation, posting and analysis of monthly accruals and prepayments
Review and reconciliation of intercompany accounts
Provide cost information to management and other departments as required
Leading the yearend process with external audit staff, reviewing procedures and local statutory audits as required
Driving process improvement across the finance function

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
Preferably Shared Service Centre or multinational corporation background
Oracle/ERP Systems and advanced Excel skills are highly desirable
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines, in an always changing environment
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders within Finance and wider business functions
