Finance Manager - Hertfordshire (Hybrid) - £55,000 + Benefits

My client a leading local council within the wider Hertfordshire area are looking for a strong Finance manager with considerable Local Council experience following an internal promotion.

The Council prides itself on its strong budget control and this role willfacilitate the continuous goal to maintain this tradition.


Responsibilities include:

  • Providing financial advice based on development plans and modelling.
  • Ownership of the budget including looking at short
- and medium-term goals.

  • Manage staff, including working on their continuous development
  • Financial Reporting including forecasting to senior finance members etc.

The Council in return will provide proven progression opportunities with a senior leadership team who have led the way in budgetary control.
