Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Specific Responsibilities
My client is looking for an exceptional experienced Cash Collections Officer to support the Downstream and Refinery businesses.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the postholder's key responsibilities will include

Building relationships with customer counterparts in Finance and Accounts Payable
Liaising with Sales, Operations and O2C Teams to ensure invoice issue resolution
Daily chasing of overdue invoices via phone conversations with customers
Daily confirmation of customer invoices submitted via EDI before due date
Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO
Preemptive confirmation of cash receipts from customers
Initiation of collection proceedings with credit insurers
Cover as required for the rest of the team
Other adhoc duties as required
Position is office based in our Weybridge office.

Person Specification, Qualifications & Package details:

Part qualified or qualified by experience to similar level
Excellent credit control experience with excellent track record
Excellent knowledge and understanding of all AR/O2C functions
High personal quality standards and attention to detail
Ability to take ownership & persist with follow up
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUPs and PIVOTs
Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
A team player who is willing to get involved in all AR/O2C tasks when required
