Electrical Foreperson / £22.50 Per Hour / Based in Harleston, Suffolk / Monday to Friday / 7.00am till 3.00pm / Permanent

Hales Group are working with their client to find an Electrical Foreperson to join their electrical department.

You will be working as the head of the department, and will be lucky to work alongside their current Foreman to learn what they do to the highest standards.

This is a really good opportunity for someone to step in to the role and become a valued member of the team.

Salary

£22.50 Per Hour

Hours

Monday to Friday

7.00am till 3.00pm

General Duties

Identifying requirements from the Engineering Manager/Engineering department
Reading design specifications and technical drawings
Researching suitable solutions
Working to required standards e.g. British (BS), European (EN) and Worldwide standards
Liaising with others in the design team
Attending meetings as and when required
Conducting test
Reworking and rewiring, installing electrical components to products
Recording, analysing and interpreting test data
Proposing modifications and retesting products
Qualifying the final product or system
Servicing and maintaining equipment
Following and implementing all aspects of Health and Safety
Quality inspections on all work
Team player and ability to work alone
Ability to manage others and their workload
Able to adapt to the requirements of individuals
Flexible approach to workload and people
Hands on approach to all tasks
Ability to take a proactive approach to overcome challenges and achieve results
Versatile, tenacious and people orientated
Result orientated and confident
Proven appreciation of customer service expectations and cost demands of business
Set priorities considering short and longterm needs of the business
