A bit about the role... Working in a busy team, the Communications Manager will play a critical role in developing effective marketing communications for services delivered the Home Ownership team at Homes England. This currently includes equity loans provided by the Help to Buyand Help to Build schemes.


You will join friendly and talented colleagues, who are committed to making positive change by amplifying our messages to customers and stakeholders, and helping to maximise customers' understanding of our equity loan products.

In this role your will get the chance to shape and lead the delivery of a content and production schedule for customer communications in the Home Ownership team.


A bit about you Our day job is to put the customers at the heart of what we do. You'll be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will continuously search for ways to improve and innovate.

You'll be comfortable using insights to inform communications and be expert in delivering digital communications activities.

You'll know how to use social media to reach new audiences and amplify our messages.

This includes managing our social communities, plus creating and sharing relevant content online, such as how to guides, customer literature, blogs and articles to maximiseunderstanding.


You will work with closely with our delivery partners to support and inform the development of effective customer facing communications.

You will develop communications for our customers from brief to publication and support senior colleagues in the executionof Home Ownership Communications strategy and planning.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn't always easy.

You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what wedo as a team.

You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.


As an experienced marketing communications professional you'll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
