Do you want to be part of an international, growing Compliance team, working for one of Europe's largest FinTech/disrupter-banks, that wants to revolutionize the financial industry? Klarna is looking for new members to strengthen the Compliance Team.
We are looking for Compliance Specialists located in London, United Kingdom.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Conduct and leading international reviews from a 2nd Line of Defense perspective
- Produce high quality reports with well defined conclusions and recommendations
- Monitoring and reporting of progress of identified issues
- Perform quality assurance on 2nd Line of Defense review processes
- Act as a point of contact with relevant stakeholders including operational teams and compliance colleagues during reviews
- Support reporting to top management on risk exposure, control performance and observations
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on internal and external audits
- Support management change to contribute to process enhancement
Skills and competences:
- At least five years' experience from banking, consultancy, forensic or risk management functions
- Interest or understanding of banking and payment services products
- Experience from a similar position or international audit company
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance or Data Privacy regulations
- Understanding of 2nd Line of Defense activities including risk identification and mitigation
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach that enables the team to be productive, effective, and successful
- A strong sense of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity
- Takes initiative, recognizes and acts on opportunities
- Analytical skills to identify patterns and trends particularly in large volumes of dataHave the ability to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management frameworks, detecting anomalies and exceptions in data or processes
- Able to make informed decisions based on data and other insights, identify compliance risks and make recommendations on how to mitigate those risks.
- Fluent in English and other European languages useful
