    Assembler / Wire person

    Entry Level Aerospace Wir e person/Mod Person/Assembler. Demonstrates the ability to modify, repair and assemble products coming into the site within the required time specified with a highly tuned attitude to quality and exacting workmanship standards. Predominantly focusing on the modification, wiring, assembly and repair of circuit cards. Suggests improvements. AL1 Assemblers should be self-motivated and should be able to determine a course of action with assistance.

    Key requirements


    • Gains understanding of basic technical, Quality and workshop processes sufficient to solve problems by working with others to select the appropriate solution from several existing alternatives & precedents.


    • Identifies issues and areas for improvement with existing technical and area processes that are typically internal to the organisation.


    • Participates in cross-area process teams usually with a clearly defined charter.


    • Communicates competently in group situations. Providing technical information to others.


    • Responsible for own work area to ensure safe and efficient operation.

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS:


    • Repair, assemble, re-work and modify products coming into the site within the required time specified. Proficient in multiple process skills which may include various soldering disciplines, lacing, assembly/disassembly of units and basic testing.

    Demonstrates growth in technical competence and maturity through work experiences.
