    Description
    Electrical Engineer
    £33k - £40k Established in 1985, We Staff's client is headquartered in Chigwell, Essex, boasting nearly four decades of expertise as a leading accredited service provider. Specialising in Electrical and Fire Compliance services, they cater to Housing Associations and Local Authorities throughout London and the South-East. With a steadfast commitment to 'people's safety,' they have earned the trust of numerous local authorities, housing associations, and emergency services. Our client's comprehensive service portfolio includes planned preventive maintenance, cyclical maintenance, responsive repairs, testing and inspection, as well as installation, regeneration, and improvement projects.


    Responsibilities:
    Execute day-to-day tasks with precision, adhering to contractual requirements and safety standards. Provide exemplary customer service to clients and residents.


    Key Duties:

    • Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspections, and testing.
    • Troubleshoot and rectify faults, as well as undertake remedial works and new inspections.
    • Respond to reactive electrical issues and conduct emergency lighting inspections and repairs.
    • Maintain high standards of work across various settings, including schools, void, occupied, and communal areas.
    • Uphold excellent customer care and promote positive company image externally.
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures for efficient service delivery, including timely reporting and proper recycling practices.

    Experience & Skills:

    • Proficiency in electrical repair, maintenance, servicing, and installations, ideally in the public sector.
    • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials common to the Electrical Trade.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interpret schematics and electrical drawings.
    • IT literacy and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
