The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing company as Audio Visual Installation Engineer.
Key responsibilities include:
Installation of equipment including but not limited to projectors, displays, audio equipment, control systems, interactive equipment, racks etc.
Liaising with Project Managers/Seniors to ensure successful completion of works
Management of your task allocation, time frames and workflow
Carry out and complete all works to high quality and in a competent manner and with the customer establishment being left in a clean and tidy condition
Contribute to the achievement of project targets
Provide the highest level of customer service
To work together with the team to resolve technical issues
Liaising with other internal departments, clients and contractors
Testing, fault finding and maintenance of AV systems
Understand and interpret the audio visual schematics and drawings/documentation
Provide daily updates to the Project Manager or Operations Manager verbally or via email where required
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all paperwork including job packs and job sign offs and the maintaining of accurate records of the onsite installation
To act at all times in accordance with the Companys rules, policies and procedures including the Companys Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
You will ideally be based in Watford or within commutable distance but jobs can be across UK.
Salary is £35k-£40k p.a. doe company vehicle plus overtime, company pension scheme and incentives.
Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will have good experience in Audio Visual installation engineering and experience of:
Control4, Lutron, Rako, KNX and other control systems
Video Conferencing systems
Display equipment
Media Walls including video wall and/or LED
Audio Equipment
1st fix cabling
Rack building
General audio visual systems
Good underpinning technical knowledge of Electronics and Audio Visual Systems
Ability to plan and organise work
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure is essential
Competent to a high level of computer literacy
Able to work as part of a team
Ability to think laterally finding an appropriate solution to fulfil an application
Good communication skills both written and verbal at all levels
Ability to work to the highest quality standards with attention to detail ensuring that you complete work thoroughly
Flexible approach to working hours
Full/Clean UK Driving Licence
