Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Milton Keynes. This part-time role is perfect for an enthusiastic educator looking to make a significant impact while maintaining work-life balance.

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping to foster a love for mathematics and improving student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
Maintain discipline through effective classroom management strategies.
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.

Requirements:

Hold a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent) in Mathematics.
Minimum of 6 months of teaching experience within the UK education system.
Strong knowledge of the current Maths curriculum and assessment practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo this procedure).
Legally eligible to work in the UK
