    My client is a well-established firm specialising in project management, contract administration, quantity surveying, and CDM consultancy. Collaborating closely with in-house architects and designers, they handle diverse construction, refurbishment, and fit-out projects throughout the UK.

    This role demands a candidate with deep knowledge of CDM Regulations, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within project teams. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with a valid UK driving licence, are prerequisites for the position.

    As part of this role, you will help roll out of exciting retail, residential, and commercial projects across the UK

    Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of CDM Principal Designer and Advisor:

    • Fulfil Principal Designer responsibilities in accordance with CDM Regulations across a range of construction and refurbishment projects nationwide.
    • Support Designers and Clients in complying with CDM Regulations, emphasising risk prevention.
    • Acquire, organise, and disseminate clear Pre-Construction Health & Safety Information.
    • Attend design team meetings, leading design risk workshops and providing constructive input.
    • Assess and ensure the competence of designers and contractors.
    • Review Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans submitted by Principal Contractors.
    • File F10 notifications to the HSE on behalf of clients.
    • Conduct CDM audits during construction, generating comprehensive reports.
    • Gather and distribute Health & Safety Files as required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Extensive experience and understanding of CDM Regulations.
    • Familiarity with Building Regulations and design guidelines.
    • Possession of a valid UK driving licence.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
