1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Streatham
We are looking for dynamic and adaptable 1:1 Teaching Assistants, that will be able to support pupils on a daily basis in the classroom, from Primary level to Secondary level.
Due to the variety of support needed, experience supporting different needs is highly desirable.
You will play a key role in supporting the pupils with communication, learning, and independence, in a safe and inclusive environment to help their development.
The positions start in September, for the whole academic year and potentially beyond.Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with a wide range of needs
- Supervising pupil's behaviour
- Encouraging and supporting the pupils learning and development
- Supporting social interaction
- Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activities
Requirements:
- Experience of supporting children or adults with a variety of needs
- Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Strong communication skills
- Available 5 days a week
- Able to commit to 612 months
