Are you a fitness instructor that has experience instructing children?

Have you had a sports based background that could be beneficial in an educational environment?

Are you looking to follow a path towards a career in the education sector teaching PE or sports?


Reed Education Plymouth are seeking out experienced fitness, gym, sports, and physical education instructors to join our busy secondary schools in a PE environment to help excel children's ability in PE and encourage them to remain fit and active throughoutlife.

Reed Education Plymouth would love to speak to people who have either worked in or had similar experiences to the following jobs:

  • Personal trainer
  • Gym instructor
  • Football, rugby, tennis coach
  • Fitness coach

Responsibilities for this post include:

  • Assisting the teacher with behaviour management
  • Working with a group of students or individual students
  • Assisting students who have SEN
  • Working collaboratively with other members of support staff
  • Engaging with students in a positive way, influencing their learning
You will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS with Child Workforce check to confirm suitability for the role.
