    Due to business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Engineer to join our high performing team. As a utilities contractor we work with some great customers and this is an exciting time to join us. This particular role is aligned to our SSE client.

    Here are some of the activities you will get involved with...

    • Assist in analysing of survey data and edit such in required formats.

    • Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by Preconstructions Teams and designers.

    • Complete modifications to existing drawings.

    • Assist in the Production of as-constructed plans to client specification.

    • Ensure compliance with all Clancy controlled documents including Clancy procedures.

    • Pro-active in helping to develop new systems to meet changing departmental needs.

    • Develop good working relationships and close liaison with clients.

    • Assist Site / Cad Engineers in collation of information recorded on site.

    • Full UK Driving Licence.

    We would love to hear from you if you are...
    An experienced CAD Engineer ideally with Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks' (SSEN); UK Power Networks (UKPN) or Distribution Network Operator (DNO) experience, understanding drawing practices (LV to 132kV), and proficiency in GPS/EDM surveying equipment.

    Essential skills include engineering principles, 2D and 3D AutoCAD proficiency, problem-solving, resourcefulness, and effective communication.
    You will be using GPS/EDM surveying equipment regularly, so it is essential that you have the ability to create and read technical drawings.
    Desirable attributes include leadership, professionalism in client interactions, negotiation skills, and strong teamwork. A relevant professional or vocational qualification is required, along with a commitment to prioritising Health, Safety, and Environment.
