National Gas Transmission (NGT) has an exciting and important role in net zero and in leading a fair energy transition for the UK. We will do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today.
The Security function here at National Gas delivers a holistic security service to the whole of the organisation.
Due to continued growth in this function, we are seeking a talented SOC Team Leader to join us and be an ambassador for our Security Control Centre (SCC).
You will have the ability and drive, to deliver excellent customer service to our stakeholders, managing a small team of SOC experts and be accountable for the coaching, mentoring and development of new operators.
You will support the SCC manager in ensuring the safety and security of National Gas People and Assets, taking the lead in the event of serious incidents and escalating appropriately.
About You:
Excellent Security Operations skill and experience
Incident Management expertise
Superb Team Leading/Management skills
Experienced in Emergency Response protocols
Certification in Security Operations

Salary up to £46,000
