    About the role:

    We are looking for an experienced Studio Manager to join our new "Buzz" Studio in Leighton Buzzard launched November 2023. You will manage an amazing team of self-motivated professionals: Studio Front of house, Floor assistants and technical coordinator to deliver a full end to end studio experience. This is an extremely fast- paced role that includes servicing our studios, talent hosting, supporting our creative team of photographers and stylists, studio maintenance, technical equipment, and providing support to maintain Next's photographic vision and creative beliefs.
    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with great leadership skills, photographic equipment knowledge, who's experienced in managing studios and delivering photography.

    You will:

  • Lead the Studio Front of House, Studio Assistants and Technical Coordinator to create a positive, upbeat environment
  • Provide an excellent service to the creative, online, brand and Next product teams along with an array of top talent
  • Be responsible for the overall studio performance to ensure it operates efficiently and delivers high quality content and service to all areas of the business
  • Create and uphold an engaging, dynamic hosting environment across the studios ensuring all our inhouse team, clients & talent are fully catered for and
  • supported during studio time
  • Ensure the studios plan resources effectively to deliver a premium experience
  • An experienced people manager, who is able to lead and motivate teams to maximise studio servicing
  • Manage supplier costs and services, proposing and presenting recommendations for new products and ensuring equipment is serviced regularly
  • Ensure the technical infrastructure works correctly and arrange for maintenance, upgrades, repairs and replacement of equipment as necessary
  • Administer First Aid as appropriate and operate as a Fire Warden, ensuring site rules, health and safety and security processes and procedures are adhered to and relevant inductions are carried out
  • Carry out regular one to one's with team members, identifying development areas and setting objectives.
  • About you:

  • Experience in studio management and production
  • Experience managing studio floor assistants.
  • Have proven experience managing studios and activities including still life, model imagery and video
  • Ability to think creatively and understand the latest visual trends
  • Outstanding leadership qualities, taking full responsibility for the day-to-day management of this area.
  • Forward thinking, innovative & proactive in your approach
  • Enthusiastic with strong motivational skills, enabling the management and motivation of the team.
  • Superior planning, workload management and organisational capabilities.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, problem solving and presentation skills.
  • Highly communicative with an ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • The ability to problem solve and produce innovative ideas and solutions.
  • A strong communicator and listener.
  • Comfortable with a highly pressured and rapidly changing environment.Experience in an E-commerce photography studio is essential.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience
  • Exemplary attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence.
