We are currently recruiting for a experienced Sales and Expeditor to join our busy Sales administration team at Hydrapower Dynamics Limited.


Duties involve but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for managing the sales order process
  • Assisting and be able to provide cover for the Scheduler in entering customer requirements on to the system
  • Developing rapport and relationships with key customers and contacts, understanding their specific requirements.
  • Ensuring customer requests are fully understood and resolved.
  • Handle customer complaints and queries professionally and escalate problems where necessary to relevant personnel.
  • To follow departmental systems, processes and procedures
  • Responsible for creation bills of materials and raise orders and allocate stock
  • Assist with maintaining and updating production schedules
  • Dealing with commodity codes, duty rates, licences and documentation requirements to comply with international trading laws
  • Handle customer issues professionally and escalate problems where necessary
  • Placing purchase orders as necessary, ensuring the right supplies for the job and maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Facilitating the flow of materials between various parties and departments and checking job cost reports for mischarges or other inconsistencies
  • Identifying critical shortages or manufacturing delays and sharing information with colleagues and customers
  • Streamlining interdepartmental communication, often working as a liaison between all departments
  • Liaising with customers both internal and external to obtain information required to complete formal excise documentation and instructions
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations Liaising with shipping agents, couriers to check on the progress of new and existing requirements
  • Education in Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain Experience of working in Supply Chain Management essential Experience of working in a Manufacturing environment essential Must have excellent communication skills

  • Birmingham, B1 2UN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Salary:
From £23,000.00 per year
