    We are an NHS Framework agency offering our Nurses temporary ad-hoc shifts or block bookings within NHS Trusts in the Birmingham area (specifically Birmingham Community) with rates of pay varying from £18.00 – £30.00 per hour.

    We also offer flexibility in the way you are paid. We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Nurses who have at least six months of qualified general nursing experience.

    *THE ROLE:* The post holder will work as part of the District Nursing Service within the integrated Multidisciplinary team under the supervision of the District Nurse / Caseload holder.

    He / She will be accountable for the delivery of care to an identified caseload, to patients within their own home at GP premises/health centres or other community setting.

    He / She will manage the caseload in the absence of the District Nurse/ Caseload holder.

    • Work in accordance with NMC Code of Professional Conduct and scope of Professional Practice.
    • Provide high quality skilled nursing services to patients within their own home at GP premises/health centre's or other community setting using evidence based practice in liaison with other members of the team.
    • In conjunction with the District Nurse/ Caseload holder, take responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of allocated patients needs.
    • Identify risks through the assessment process documenting and initiating appropriate action, reporting as appropriate to the District Nurse/ Caseload holder.
    • To develop and maintain evidenced based practice in health needs, specifically tissue viability, long term conditions management and palliative care.
    • Provide support and advice to patients and informal carers, including the teaching of basic nursing care as appropriate.
    • Participate in the promotion of healthy living and the prevention of ill health and disability through diagnostic screening, education and promotion of independence and self management as a priority of care in the community. WHAT WE NEED FOR YOU TO WORK WITH US:
    • A current NMC Registration and have a minimum of six months of qualified general nursing experience.
    • You will be required to meet our framework compliance criteria e.g. references, DBS and Occupational Health.
