We are looking for Community Nurses (experienced and newly qualified) who are seeking a new challenge and career development within a friendly nursing team. You need to be able to work over a shift system which includes early (8-4pm) and late (12-8pm) shifts across 7 days including weekends (1 in 4) and bank holidays.
To excel in this role you will require excellent communication skills, the courage to make clinical decisions and a willingness to develop your potential. You will require current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse. Post-registration experience is helpful but not essential and we have an excellent preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses with Practice Facilitator support including the opportunity of completing the level 7 (Masters) 15 credit validated module Preceptorship for Healthcare (AP7026).
Future progression opportunities include District Nurse Qualification at Specialist Practice level (allowing you to lead a team of Community Nurses) and Assessment and Prescribing modules.

Our programme is provided to all Newly Qualified Nurses, Nursing Associates, Internationally Educated Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals and Return to Practice Practitioners. In addition to the programme we also offer all preceptees the opportunity of enrolling and completing the level 7 (Masters) 15 credit validated module Preceptorship for Healthcare (AP7026).
Newly qualified Social Workers are offered the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment programme (ASYE) which is similar to a preceptorship programme.
