Credit Controller

£27,000 - £30,000 per annum

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our Client's finance team.

As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the Sales Ledger effectively.
  • Conduct proactive credit control for businesstobusiness accounts.
  • Resolve invoice queries and account issues promptly.
  • Maintain comprehensive customer contact notes.
  • Issue weekly and monthly invoices and statements to customers.
  • Perform opening and vetting procedures for new accounts.
  • Establish and review credit limits for customers based on risk assessment, company policies, and creditworthiness.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in credit control, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive and persistent problemsolving approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
