Factory Manager – General Manufacturing – Tamworth – £70,000 - £75,000 + Car + Bonus + benefitsOUR CLIENTIs a leading manufacturing business with a large portfolio of products.
Their Tamworth facility requires a Factory Manager to take full operational control of the facility.THE ROLEThe position will have full responsibility for the Manufacturing, Engineering and SHE parts of the operation amounting to approximately 100 personnel.
This business is highly automated and therefore requires a disciplined approach to all "critical control points" on a daily basis.
These areas are hygiene, preventative maintenance, recipe control etc – it is essential that all plans relating to these areas are adhered to stringently, any non-conformance can have a massive impact on the efficiency and quality of the manufacturing process and subsequent customer satisfaction.
To have the maximum impact upon the business, engagement of the personnel and the building of a team ethos is highly important.
THE PERSONYou will be an experienced manufacturing Operations professional who can learn new technically challenging manufacturing processes.The area of manufacturing your experience has been gained in would ideally be a highly automated process involving PLC controlled equipment, for example Food, chemicals etc.
You will strive for high standards and have a transferrable skill set looking constantly for root causes and 100 year fixes.
You will be highly visible from the shop floor and be comfortable actively coaching staff and driving improvements across the manufacturing operation.
THE SALARY£70,000 - £75,000 + car + bonus
