Area of Responsibility:


The internal sales co-ordinator is responsible for maximising sales revenue from sales enquiries into the branch, as well as maintaining and developing relationships and revenue with existing client accounts.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • To carry out any reasonable duties as requested by the Commercial Manager.
  • To answer promptly any telephone calls received by the sales office.
  • To promptly follow up any enquiries received.
  • To provide a timely and efficient service to the company's clients with regard to any provision of pricing, stock and delivery information or product support.
  • To ensure that all relevant customer and sales information is recorded quickly and accurately on the CRM & Sales Software.
  • To work closely with external sales team with regard to quotations received and subsequent result of followups.
  • To work in a clear, accurate and controlled way with regard to their own work stations and the sales office environment in general.
  • To ensure that any orders placed on the system are accurate in content and to record any special requirements required by the client with regard to delivery times/locations etc, and inform the relevant warehouse personnel.
  • To liaise with other branch operations with regard to supply and allocation of stock products to best meet the needs of the client.
  • To identify and quickly act upon commercial opportunities and market intelligence, engaging with Ops Manager and external sales team, and escalating to the SD & MD where necessary.
  • To attend any training courses that are deemed necessary by management to further the sales opportunities of the company or to further their own personal development.

  • A good standard of education, including Maths and English GCSE
  • A good level of IT competency in MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint
