Full Time, Fixed Term for 3 months
***The British Library is looking to recruit a full-time Cataloguer of South Asian Natural History drawings. Working with one of the most extensive collections of 19th century South Asian natural history drawings in the world this is a rare and exciting opportunity to help make these specialist collections discoverable for research, innovation, and enjoyment, for wider dissemination and re-use. The post holder will identify the taxonomy of illustrated zoological specimens as well as create and enhance metadata.

***We are looking for someone who has worked in a cataloguing environment with experience of research and study involving natural history drawings, has good communication skills and an analytical and flexible approach to problem solving. To be successful in this role you will be technically proficient, have the ability to make sound and timely cataloguing decisions as well as be able to work independently and in a team environment.
