    DEPOT MANAGER

    MONDAY - FRIDAY:

    £50,000 - £60,000 PER ANNUM DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

    People Solutions are recruiting for a Depot Manager to work for our client who is a trusted name within the environmental services industry.

    Day to Day Duties

    This is a commercial role which requires the successful candidate to work with other internal departments and depots to ensure the commercial success of all projects undertaken whilst offering the highest level of customer service.

    Daily Duties Include:


    • Liaising with internal departments to ensure successful project delivery and commercial performance.

    • Qualification and follow up of all sales leads including updating details on the CRM system.

    • Financial responsibility for costs and budgets, ensuring that costs are managed efficiently, and reporting is completed for the P & L

    • Responsibility for SHEQ compliance including identifying areas of improvement and training and follow up.

    • Recruitment and management of all depot staff.

    • Investigate client complaints and queries, put measures in place to prevent future issues.

    Essential Skills


    • Previous experience within the waste, environmental, or industrial sectors.

    • A full clean, drivers' licence is required for this role.

    • Previous finance, sales and operational experience are essential.

    • A strong understanding of H & S requirements within the workplace, IOSH or NEBOSH would be advantageous.

    • Working knowledge of operating within ISO9002 : 14001 guidelines.

    Desirable Experience


    • Communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

    • Excellent organisational skills are desirable.

    'On the job' training will be provided from day one and ongoing.
