    What we're looking for

    Sunbeam is a new feedback analytics platform that transforms the way businesses use customer and employee feedback. We are on the hunt for a Senior Frontend Engineer with exceptional skills and extensive experience in frontend development to significantly impact the development of Sunbeam's user interface and user experience.

    What you'll be working on

    As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Sunbeam, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing the client-side of our software applications. You will be instrumental in building a user interface that is not only visually appealing but also functionally rich and intuitive. Your responsibilities will include creating dynamic and interactive web applications, ensuring optimal performance across various devices and platforms, and continuously improving the user experience.

    You will be tasked with writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, while also focusing on debugging, performance optimization, and testing. Collaborating closely with UX/UI designers, back-end engineers, and other team members will be key to ensure that the front-end integrates seamlessly with other parts of the product.

    In your senior role, you'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical strategy and decision-making processes, and help cultivate a robust engineering culture within the company.

    Our Tech Stack

    Our frontend is written in TypeScript and , while our backend and AI/ML code uses Python with FastAPI. We use Torch and Scikit Learn for scientific computing.

    Experience

    • You bring 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a deep understanding of modern frontend technologies and frameworks.
    • You have a strong track record of developing high-quality, responsive, and user-centric web interfaces, particularly for B2B applications.
    • Proficiency in writing clean, well-structured, and efficient HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
    • Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, , or similar.
    • You are adept at using data and user feedback to guide your decisions and improve the user experience.
    • Your background includes leading frontend projects, mentoring junior team members, and actively contributing to a collaborative and innovative team environment.
