- Coordinating capacity and material bookings with vendors.
- Managing the monthly buying cycle.
- Formulating global buy plans and effectively communicating with regional merchandising teams.
- Handling direct delivery and distribution center purchase orders within our SAP & Nexus systems.
- Monitoring production plans with our global vendor base to ensure adherence to business requirements and timelines.
- Building strong vendor relationships.
- Supporting the onboarding process for new vendors and providing guidance on Pentland processes and expectations.
- Generating key performance indicator (KPI) reports.
- Coordinating with relevant teams to monitor critical path activities and address potential delays proactively.
- Identifying and managing non-conformances against agreed processes, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain planning.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency in SAP / other relevant supply chain management systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and drive informed decision-making.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
