    Job Title:
    Contract Mobile App Developer (iOS)

    Location:
    Belfast, Northern Ireland

    Duration:
    6 months contract with a view to extension

    Our client is a dynamic and innovative software development firm, specialising in cutting-edge mobile applications. Our client prides themselves on delivering high-quality solutions that exceed client expectations. Currently, we are seeking a talented Mobile App Developer to join their team on an outside IR35 contract basis.


    Position Overview:


    We are looking for a skilled Mobile App Developer specialising in iOS development to contribute to the creation of our next-generation mobile applications.

    The successful candidate will work closely with their development team to design, develop, and implement iOS applications that meet the needs of our client.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
    Develop high-quality, maintainable code for iOS applications.
    Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
    Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
    Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
    Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
    Maintain code integrity and organisation.


    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience as a Mobile App Developer specialising in iOS development.

    Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
    Strong understanding of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Animation, Core Data, etc.
    Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
    Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
    Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


    Additional Preferred Skills:
    Experience with SwiftUI.Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
    Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
    Previous experience working in a client-facing role.


    Contract Details:

    Outside IR35 Status:
    This contract is outside of IR35 regulations


    Location:
    On-site in Belfast, Northern Ireland


    Duration:
    Initially a 6-month contract with the potential for extension based on project requirements and performance

    Start Date:
    Can start immediately


    Rate:
    Competitive rate commensurate with experience.

    Please note, you need to be based in Northern Ireland for this contract due to the nature of the work.
