Description
We're looking for an experienced Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Advisor to join our Highways team based in Northamptonshire supporting the West & North Northamptonshire contracts & Nordis Signs on all aspects of SHEA.

Location:
Northamptonshire - Site and office based with some agile working
Contract:
Permanent, full time, part time and flexible
Salary:
Up to £42K per annum + Benefits + Pension
Responsibilities
As SHE Advisor, you'll be working within the SHE team, supporting them with safety, health and welfare across Northamptonshire, providing assurance to management and clients that works are completed in accordance with SHE legislation.
Your day to day will include:
- Supporting the continued development of Kier's safety health and environmental management system with a key consideration of the principles around ISO 4500
- Undertaking site, depot and office health and safety inspections, across Northamptonshire, compiling relevant documentation and closing down corrective actions from audits
- Supporting the Kier occupational health team to provide expert advice to the contract delivery team, being the mediator between all parties around SHE issues
- Communicating with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels and implementing key SHE policies effectively
Who are we looking for?
This role of SHE Advisor is great for you if you can:
- Demonstrate SHE experience within a highways or construction environment
- Provide a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent and hold membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g., Tech IOSH or above)
- Drive and hold a full driving licence
