- Travel as and when required (infrequent) mainly to South-East Asia and the US.
- Project management within Supply Chain.
- Line management of Supply Chain Engineering team.
- Identify areas of risk and propose solutions.
- Provide support to Head of Supply Chain
- Minimum of 4 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grade C and above including Maths and English.
- Engineering degree (preferable but not essential)
- Knowledge of modern assembly production and functional test methodologies/techniques.
- Experience of electro- mechanical procurement/purchasing in a global environment to quality and cost requirements
- Knowledge of injection/compression moulding.
- Understand circuit schematics & debug methods Understand 2D mechanical drawings.
- Use of 3D software packages.
- Contracts - writing & negotiating Experience of working with overseas entities
- Project management PRINCE2 or similar training/qualification (desirable)
