- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Perform regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues before they become emergencies.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Provide guidance and training to apprentices and less experienced electricians as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in electrical systems and technology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Rail sector working would be beneficial.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, codes, and safety regulations.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various working conditions, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor environments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing (small amount), maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings in and around the rail (mainly back of house) and it's group district estate.
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
