    About the team:

    This is an exciting role for a Senior Project Manager delivering Electronic Trading software projects to high-profile financial clients.

    What you will be doing:

    Strong Delivery Competence:

    • You will be accountable for all aspects of end-to-end program delivery.
    • Create and maintain the largest and most complex plans (high level and detail).
    • Adapt delivery processes to the client/ situation.
    • Manage Defect logging and tracking with Development teams and coordination on product delivery, patching cycles

    Commercial and Financial Management Knowledge:

    • Manage budgets, implementing financial management processes needed.
    • Review implementation estimates for contracts and project execution for a large project and/or program.
    • Understand the commercial "bigger picture" and able to advise clients on the best course of action while considering cost, effort, risk and potential outcomes.

    Strong Governance and Team Management:

    • Manage budgets, implementing financial management processes needed.

    • Understand the commercial "bigger picture" and able to advise clients on the best course of action while considering cost, effort, risk and potential outcomes.
    • Run governance with functional sponsors and contributors for the largest and most complex project or programs.
    • Manage multi-disciplinary teams of developers, analysts, testers, infrastructure, and support.
    • Develop strategies independently for complex situations, translate into concrete steps and assign responsibilities to various team members and/or other project managers.
    • Contribute to PMP wide initiatives for streamlining and improving the PM practice.

    Scope Management:

    • Translate business scope and objectives into an overall project or program plan.
    • Understand the client landscape and align solutions accordingly.
    • Develop or adapt scope change process to the client/situation.
    • Apply strategies, methods and tools to communicate scope changes with clients for the program.

    What you bring:

    • ​ 10+ years of project management experience in financial technology, including leading large-scale days) projects successfully.
    • Experience in a Professional Services or Consulting Practice is preferred but not required.
    • Experience in Financial Services industry is preferred but not required
    • Knowledge of financial services industry is a must.
    • Previous budget management experience is a must.
    • Proficiency in industry-standard process methodologies (e.g., Agile) is required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors).
    • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, customer service, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills.
    • Knowledge of methods and tools to document complex solutions and build out requirements.
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. CAPM, PMP, Prince or similar Project Manager certification is preferred but not required.
