    Hospital Director – Mental Health
    £70'000 - £75'000 + bonus
    Surrey/North London


    Do you love caring for young people and children, and want an opportunity to lead a brand-new purpose built 12-bedded CAMHS service in Surrey that's opening this year?

    As the Hospital Director you will be to lead the new service operating a hybrid clinical and operational model and will.....

    • Provide overall leadership and management responsibility of the hospital and the multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for the delivery of excellent care and operational performance.
    • Ensuring both quality and financial targets are met, and facilitating the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that the service respond to the changing needs of commissioners and patients, and also reflects market trends and evidence-based practice.
    • As a member of the senior management team, you will contribute to the strategic development of the hospital, ensuring adherence to the hospital's objectives and business plan.
    • Building the hospital's reputation for high quality care and service.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Provides leadership and direction for staff in maintaining clinical and non-clinical standards, and in implementing service improvements.
    • Manages and develops a highly skilled and motivated workforce through recruitment, selection, development and performance management processes.
    • Manages the delivery of the service's business plan, ensuring the effective and efficient management and control of staffing, budgets, materials and equipment.
    • To ensure that arrangements are in place for supervision and appraisal including performance feedback, including a regular (at least monthly) meeting in a 1:1 with the Director.
