There is a clear development structure in place, which includes senior ward level nursing as well as clinical nurse specialists involved in delivery of care within the emergency medical speciality.

You must be able to work as part of team and autonomously when required, and be committed to delivering care of a high standard.
We work closely with our colleagues in the Emergency Department and all of the multi-disciplinary providing an excellent stroke service for our community in Cornwall.
The Band 4 Assistant Practitioner / Nursing Associate demonstrates a level of skill and understanding which enables them to undertake specific tasks delegated by the nurse/midwife in charge and in accordance with relevant procedures, guidelines and policies.
It is expected that Assistant Practitioner / Nursing Associate will be able to carry out all of the core competencies outlined in the Assistant Practitioners Governance Framework, but their duties and competencies will vary according to speciality agreed extended competencies.
Demonstrate throughout all interventions and tasks the 6 C's of Nursing Courage, Care, Compassion, Communication, Competency & Commitment.
Sustainability is integral to the Trust achieving the NHS Net Zero target. All staff are therefore actively encouraged and supported to implement new ways of working within their field of expertise.
To work as a skilled member of the nursing team.
