    Description

    The Manchester University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist with a special interest in the management of persistent pain in our forward-thinking MDT Pain Service.

    The role will be based between the Community Pain teams and the Secondary Care MFT Pain Service.

    You should have demonstrable knowledge of pain management physiotherapy, with the ability to prioritise your workload.

    You will provide specialist physiotherapy input including individual or group work in Pain Management Programmes in conjunction with Psychology and other MDT colleagues.

    You will be supported through clinical supervision, physiotherapy peer supervision and attendance at monthly MDT meetings.

    You will be required to hold a valid HCPC registration and be able to evidence advanced skills as a senior clinician working with patients with long-term chronic pain.

    Individual pain management physiotherapy treatment.
    Teaching and training as part of the MDT and Pain service.
    Co-facilitating undergraduate physiotherapy student placements.

    Graduate Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy
    Significant post-graduate work relating to area of speciality
    Non-medical prescribing or willing to work towards if service requires

    Experience as a Band 6 Physio working in MSK
    Excellent knowledge of physiotherapy
