Derivatives/Trading Lawyer - London, United Kingdom - One Ten Associates

We are partnering with a leading hedge fund which is looking to hire a Derivatives/Trading Lawyer to join their legal team in London.

The fund trades multiple asset classes, with exposure across Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities and Algorithmic strategies.

The job holder will be expected to:

• Provide legal advice to the front office on global trades/transactions across multiple asset classes
• Draft and negotiate new master trading agreements (IDSA, GMRA), term sheets, master confirmation agreements etc...
• Negotiate prime brokerage and clearing documentation
• Work with the legal team in negotiating and managing exchange/trading venue memberships
• Assist the wider team with broader legal requirements including commercial matters

The ideal candidate will have:

• Circa 1-3 year PQE
• Experience within a Derivatives/Trading/Structured Finance team within private practice
• A good understanding of derivatives and multi-asset classes

Lawyers from both private practice and in-house will be considered, as long as they have the required derivatives/trading legal background.
