We want people who are caring, supportive, great at communicating and really thrive looking after the needs of others. Your caring nature and enthusiastic approach will be perfect in this role.

It doesn't matter if you have never worked in a care setting before as you will begin by spending the first two weeks on our bespoke training programme that will help you develop all the initial skills that will you need to do the role.

So when you step out after your training and join the area you will work on, you can be confident in your abilities - proudly holding your Care Certificate.

When you start you will have with two weeks paid training onsite to start off with to ensure you have all the skills and training you need.

In terms of shifts, you have the option of long days 7am - 7:30 pm or nights 7pm - 7:30am.

Of course we are able to offer some flexible working within this, but do need to provide a service based on core hours to ensure the best care provided for our patients.

Being a Healthcare Assistant in our Community Healthcare Hub will be a wonderful role.

You will play a vital role in the care of our patients, helping with their day-to-day needs, through the provision of help with personal care, meals and mobility, as well as performing clinical checks such as skin integrity, monitoring fluid and nutrition intake.

Sometimes the role will be tough, you will see and be involved in some difficult scenarios involving our patients, demanding at times and deliver some very direct personal care.

However, we know with your effective skills and person attributes that this won't phase you in the slightest.

This is an opportunity to join our new team at our Community Healthcare Hub where you will be supported to learn, grow and flourish, nurtured and developed in a supportive environment from a multi professional team and a structured leadership framework.

If you have always aspired to work for the NHS caring for our patients and working alongside highly motivated teams, then you are going to love this role.
